Norma McCartney Obituary

Daughter of the late Dennis F. and Dorothy (Tisdale) Klinefelter of Wilkinsburg, PA, passed away on May 5, 2024. Preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) F. McCartney; brothers, Edward F., Paul V., Dennis T. Klinefelter; and grandson, Steven Shell. She is survived by son, Paul D. Shell (Rosemary) and daughters, Evelyn Wilkins, Barbara Strosko (Raymond), Kathleen Poole (John), and Lisa Permar (Clark); sister, Diane Klinefelter and sister-in-law, Joan Klinefelter. Beloved grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Norma graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh and worked as a pediatric nurse. Known for her beautiful voice, she loved to sing and was a member of Sweet Adelines International for many years. Norma became an accomplished artist having taken up the hobby when she and Jack retired to Florida. Memorial Service to be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024 at St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg, 944 St Clair Way, Greensburg, PA 15601.
