Age 94 of Morris, Illinois, formerly of Naperville, Illinois, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Serenity Estates in Morris.
Born April 12, 1931, Norma was the daughter of Norman and Marie Lewis. She was raised and educated in Naperville and graduated from Naperville High School with the Class of 1949. She married John J. Perucca and together they made their home and raised their daughter in Naperville before moving to Morris in the 1970's. Norma worked as an office manager for Sears at the Fox Valley Mall for over 20 years until her well earned retirement.
She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Morris where she served many lunches and church dinners over the years. Norma was a long time volunteer with Morris Hospital in the gift shop and enjoyed spending time with her friends at their sewing club. She was the best hostess, always having her table set and prepared with her delicious cooking and baked goods for anyone who came to visit. Norma took great pride in her home and was unafraid to tackle any project on her own. She was also an avid gardener and took great pride in caring for her flowers.
She was a strong, independent woman who enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and she will be dearly missed by those who knew her and were lucky enough to be a part of her life.
Survivors include two nephews: Frank (Maureen) Perucca of Braidwood, Illinois and David (Caryn) Perucca of Naperville, Illinois; five great nieces: Vannesa (Mark) Prinz, Sara (Tony) Heiserman, Dr. Amanda (Ross) Marma-Perak, Megan Perucca, and Emily Perucca; several great-great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends including Doris Giordano of Coal City, Illinois.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Perucca, and her daughter, Peggy Perucca.
