Norma Lee Propp was born to Norman and Virginia Eatherton, who went before her in passing. She grew up with a strong sense of family and loyalty that would shape the way she loved and cared for others throughout her life.
Norma is survived by her brother Gordon Eatherton (Ginny) and was blessed with three children: Stacey Lee Bickler, Gregory Allen Propp, and Julie Ann Schulte (Scott). Her love and influence flowed into the next generations as she was known to so many as “Nana”. She is survived by her many grandchildren—Brittany Clark (Brett), Katie Bickler, Samantha Edwards (Tyler), Sydney Bickler, Jackson Bickler (Kate), Duncan Propp, Mason Propp (Kianna), Brian Maguire (Nichole), Erin VanderVeen (Steve), Brandon Wolfe (Kelly), and Ryan Maguire (Nicole).
She also took great joy in her great-grandchildren: Mya, Kennedi, Kori, Isaac, Josiah, Joshua, Lilly, Denver, Lola, and Daxton.
Norma loved her family fiercely and unconditionally as she did her many life-long friends.
Norma had a vibrant and creative spirit. She was an avid lover of the arts—from theatre to opera—and she carried a lifelong crush on Elvis. She had a beautiful singing voice, and her love of music was contagious, leaving a legacy in her family that will continue for generations.
Her talent for telling a story was unmatched—when Norma told a story, it came alive. And of course, she could light up any dance floor with her moves. She had a soft spot for classic romance too—especially her beloved Mr. Darcy.
She was a woman of many talents and careers—working as a barber, a postal worker, and even as a radio station owner and personality. She brought warmth, humor, and excellence to everything she did.
Norma loved unconditional and made anyone who walked in the room feel special as she would ask every detail about their life and listen with excitement.
Norma had an appreciation for her blessed life, and thanked God daily for all she had. Norma will be missed dearly by all of her friends and family.
