Norma B. Richardson, born on June 24, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, in St. Peters, Missouri. She was a cherished matriarch, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought light and warmth to all who knew her.

Norma's early years were marked by creativity and determination; while in school, she took on the role of a majorette, using a fire poker as her baton until she could finally acquire a proper one, with her mother lovingly crafting all her outfits. This creative spirit carried through to her later life, where she distinguished herself as an exceptional cook, known particularly for her famous cheesecake and her "cucumbers and water", which became a family favorite.

Deeply passionate about her interests, Norma found joy in listening to Gospel music, she had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior. Norma and Lee were devoted members of The Nazarene Church. She and her late husband Lee, who departed this world before her, embarked on countless camping trips and adventures, visiting every state in the U.S. except for Alaska in their trusty RV. They cherished their time as snowbirds, spending three delightful months in Florida with close friends, creating memories that would be fondly recounted for generations to come.

As the heart of her family, Norma hosted every holiday in her home, where laughter and love were woven into every gathering. Her home was a place where family members gathered to celebrate life’s milestones, enjoy each other's company, and indulge in the delicious meals she prepared.

Norma leaves behind a legacy of love, endurance, and commitment to family. She is survived by her loving sons, Steven (Jane), Michael (Laurie), and Dave; her devoted daughter, Sherry (Jason) Boehme; and a host of grandchildren, including Stephanie (Chris) Branson, Tom (Tama) Richardson, Michael Richardson, Melissa (Tim) Rees, Tony Ruble, Matt Richardson, Amber (Brandon) Wiles, and Kyle Puent, Taylor (Josh) Boehme. Additionally, she was blessed with great-grandchildren Nathan "Blake," Carter, Knox, Hudsyn, Tommy, Mathilda, and an anticipated great-grandchild, Baby Wiles, arriving in June 2025.

Norma is preceded in death by her beloved husband Lee Richardson, her parents William and Elizabeth Brunner, and her brothers William Brunner Jr. and LeRoy "Jack" Brunner.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters on March 4, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM, followed by a funeral service on March 5, 2025, at 8:00 AM. Following her funeral, there will be a committal service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at 10:00 AM.

Norma B. Richardson’s spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, her unmatched love and joyful spirit echoing through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
