Norma Iris Rodriguez

Norma Iris Rodriguez, age 67, passed away on October 23, 2025. She was born on June 28, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late Julio and Ada (nee Torres) Silva.

Beloved mother of Monica Silva (Omar), Jose Rodriguez, Jr. (Syndi), Jessica Rodriguez, and Erica Rodriguez. Cherished grandmother of Arianna, Sunshine, Jaleigha, Omar, Jacob, and Caleb. Dear sister of Nerida Silva, Anna Silva, Julio Silva, Evan Silva, Evelyn Brown, Miriam Strausbaugh, and Doris Darling, and preceded in death by her siblings Noelia Santana, Elmer Silva, Eriberto Silva, Hector Silva, and Jose Silva. She dearly loved all of her many nieces and nephews, especially Vanessa, Tatiana, Lynn, and Veronica, who held a special place in her heart.

Norma enjoyed reading, coloring, and working on puzzles—especially word and letter games. She loved to have a good time and was truly the life of the party. With her quick wit and infectious humor, Norma could light up any room and bring a smile to everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. Inurnment will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Riverside Cemetery 3607 Pearl Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109 (Please meet at gates by 1:45 p.m.).
