Norma Rodriguez, age 52, was born on December 9, 1973, in Dallas, Texas. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on January 22, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Norma had a generous and caring heart and was always willing to help others. She found great joy in cheering her daughter at sporting events. and watching her nephews play baseball, and Norma cherished attending church, spending time with her grandchildren, and going out to eat with her mother. Her love for family was at the center of everything she did.

Norma was preceded in death by her father, Lazaro Escobar; her nephew, Homero Lazaro Escobar, Jr.; and her grandmother, Romana Salas.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Natividad Rodriguez; her five sons, Eligio, Anthony, Alexander, Adam, and Adolfo; and her two daughters, Priscilla and Viviana; and her grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings: Jose, Juan, Cynthia and Homero, and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m., at Jeter & Son Funeral Home – Cedar Hill Chapel, located at 332 Cedar Street, Cedar Hill, TX 75104.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the same chapel. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

A loving message from her sister reads:

Norma Rodríguez, de 52 años, nació el 9 de diciembre de 1973 en Dallas, Texas. Falleció en paz, rodeada de su querida familia, el 22 de enero de 2026 en Dallas, Texas.

Norma tenía un corazón bondadoso y siempre estaba dispuesta a ayudar a los demás. Disfrutaba apoyar a su hija en sus actividades deportivas y ver jugar béisbol a sus sobrinos y Amaba asistir a la iglesia, pasar tiempo con sus nietos y salir a comer con su madre. Su familia siempre fue lo más importante para ella.

Norma fue precedida en la muerte por su padre, Lázaro Escobar; su sobrino, Homero Lazaro Escobar, Jr.; y su abuela, Romana Salas.

Le sobreviven su amada madre, Natividad Rodríguez; sus cinco hijos, Eligio, Anthony, Alexander, Adam y Adolfo; y sus dos hijas, Priscilla y Viviana, sus nietos y nietas. También deja a sus hermanos y hermanas: Jose, Juan, Cynthia and Homero, y numerosos sobrinos, así como sobrinos-nietos y sobrinas-nietas, a quienes amaba profundamente.

La velación se llevará a cabo el lunes 2 de febrero de 2026, de 2:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m., con el Santo Rosario a las 4:30 p.m., en Jeter & Son Funeral Home – Cedar Hill Chapel, ubicado en 332 Cedar Street, Cedar Hill, TX 75104.

El servicio funerario se celebrará el martes 3 de febrero de 2026 a las 10:00 a.m. en la misma capilla. El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio Calvary Hill en Dallas, Texas.
