Norma L. Stoner, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on September 22, 2025, in New Washington, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 15, 1933, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and lived a life rich with purpose and devotion.

Norma had a distinguished career as an inspector of manufactured motors at Reliance Electric in Madison, where her keen eye for detail and commitment to quality earned her the respect of her colleagues. She approached her work with the same dedication she gave to her family and friends.

Beyond her professional life, Norma was known for her warmth and hospitality. A great cook, she was particularly famous for her baked beans, a dish that brought family and friends together at many gatherings. Her home was a welcoming place where everyone felt like family, reflecting her generous spirit and love for those around her. Norma's joyful personality was highlighted by her great sense of humor; she was always laughing, and her straightforward nature ensured that everyone knew exactly where they stood with her.

A member of the New Hope Community Church, Norma's faith played a vital role in her life. Her beliefs guided her actions and interactions, nurturing a sense of community among her friends and family.

In her leisure, Norma enjoyed sewing, reading romance novels, fishing, and occasionally visiting the Boat to play the penny machines. Her hobbies enriched her life and provided joy and relaxation amidst her busy days.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Nora Beth Stoner; her son, Anthony Wade Stoner; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who cherished her deeply. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stoner; her parents, Eugene and Nora Laverne Smith; and her two sons, William F. Stoner Jr. and Martin Andrew Stoner.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, Indiana. A viewing will follow on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service is scheduled for the same day at 1:00 PM, and will be followed by burial at Crown Hill Cemetery..

Norma L. Stoner will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, loving nature, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
