Norma was born on January 21, 1986, to Gloria and Baltazar Madrid in Pampa, Texas. She graduated from Pampa high school and went on to get her massage therapist license soon after. Norma gave some of the best massages, some would say painful, deep massages, but oh they were the best. Norma later went on to work for Gayla Rigdon at State Farm as an insurance agent until the birth of her first child.

Norma loved to cook. From a young age, even before Mrs. Skaggs class, she was a chef. Baking was her favorite and in the last few years you knew she was feeling good, because she would bring over cakes, loaves of bread, or dozens of cookies. She loved to share her delicious baked goods with everyone. She bought safety knives for her children when they were younger just to teach them all she knew and loved in the kitchen. Norma wanted them to always have a sense of home and herself as they grew older. Norma loved her family so much. They would have cookouts on beautiful sun filled days with music and dancing, and Norma was in heaven.
