Norma Ruth Truesdell, 81, of Niles, died peacefully Monday, July 14, 2025.
Her life began June 12, 1944 in Jonesville Virginia the born to Bud and Iva Minor. She married Kenneth Charles Truesdell, 1974 in the Hope Baptist Church in Niles.
Norma loved flowers, growing vegetables and working in her yard. She especially enjoyed traveling to Florida with her husband Kenneth and her visits in Florida with Joan. In Florida they spent time at the flea market, swimming, dancing and enjoying life.
Norma will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Charles Truesdell of Niles; one son, Rick Hall of Jonesville, Virginia; two grandchildren, Chris Keen and Jennifer Martin; three great grandchild, Alexis Keen, Mercedes Keen, and Lillian Martin; and her best friend who became her sister, Joan Cole.
Family and friends will gather Friday, July 18, 2:00p.m. until 4:00pm., in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services, 615 East Main Street, Niles.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Powell Valley Funeral Home 29521 Wilderness Rd, Jonesville, Virginia 24263. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Steve Neff officiating.
Norma will be laid to rest at Minor Cemetery in Jonesville, Virginia following the funeral service.
