Norma E. (Cerulli) Uva, beloved wife of Michael Uva, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 91. Born in Boston, she is the daughter of the late Vito and Nina (Barbati) Cerulli.
Norma grew up in East Boston and graduated from Girls High School. She married the love of her life Michael and they settled in East Boston to raise their family and then moved to Reading in 1992 where they stayed. Norma and Michael were always together. They even worked side by side at their family-owned tailor shop, Pacifici of Boston until their retirement. Norma enjoyed traveling, swimming and being on the water. She shared a lifetime of unforgettable memories with her husband. Her greatest joy came from being with family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to being the wife of 68 years to Michael, she is the devoted mother of Michael Uva and his wife Yvonne, Richard Uva, Diane Giacalone and her husband David and David Uva and his wife Sharon. Cherished grandmother of Michael Uva and his wife Jennifer, Rebbeca Vasa and her husband Brian, Anne Uva, Christina Uva, Victoria Uva, Louis Dinunzio and his wife Shareena, Nina Richards and her husband Matthew, Nicholas Uva and Aria Uva and great grandmother of Alex, Ellie, Sydney, Sam, Mia, Antonia, Frankie and Anna.
Services for Norma will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, Norma's family asks that donations may be made in her memory online to the American Diabetes Association
