Norma Jean Warner, age 96, passed from this life on November 25, 2025, and was joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 65 years, Gerald “Jerry,” who preceded her in death in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Clare “Mac” McMullins.
For Norma, family was the center and joy of her life. It was always a priority for Norma to live close to her son, and the family felt truly fortunate to have spent so many years just minutes from one another—sharing daily life, holidays, milestones, and countless, treasured moments that have become lasting memories. She treasured every moment spent with her husband, her son, and her granddaughters, and she played an instrumental role in helping to raise her grandchildren.
Norma enjoyed simple pleasures that brought her and her loved ones together—quiet afternoons of reading, lively game nights with family, and traveling with those she held dear. No matter how busy life became, she remained devoted to her role as a wife, always ready to greet Jerry when he returned home from work—even during the many years she herself worked outside the home.
Her life was marked by grace, humor, loyalty, and a steadfast love for her family. Those who knew Norma will remember her gentleness, her strength, and the way she made everyone around her feel valued and cared for.
Norma is survived by her son, Mark Warner; granddaughter Stephanie Carnes and her son, Grayson, of Edmond, OK; granddaughter Deborah DeVore and her daughter, Taylor, of Fort Worth, TX; and nieces Diane Collins and husband Don as well as Debbie Stalnaker and her husband Harry. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faithfulness, and family devotion that will continue for generations.
