Norman Curtis Eslinger
Norm Lived in Yakima, Washington, passed away July 3, 2025 at home with his wife Debbie at his side from a long illness of kidney disease. Norm was born August 20, 1944 in Ellensburg, Washington at home on the Nannum. Norm was the 6th child born to Kenneth and Eunice (Noyes) Eslinger. Norm lived in the Kittitas Valley until a young adult. He and Debbie were married on August 3, 1969.
Norm was an extremely devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He worked farming, construction, and for the City of Yakima until retirement. Norm also built three houses in Yakima. He loved fishing, growing a garden, camping, and after retirement loved to cook. He spent summers camping, traveling from Alaska to Mexico, and to Hawaii.
Norm is survived by his wife Debbie, two grandchildren which he and Debbie raised, Brittany Gomez and Victor Gomez, and his only and most cherished great grandson Brayden Gomez. In addition he is survived by three sister in laws Cindy (Bob) Knudson, Cathy (John) Perry, and Karen (Keith) Eslinger and one sister Karen Jensen. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends including a special friend, confident, and brother for life, Terry McClure.
Norm was preceded in death by his daughter Amie Renee (Eslinger) Gomez, his dad Kenneth Eslinger, his mother Eunice (Noyes) Eslinger, two brothers Keith Eslinger and Larry Eslinger, 3 sisters Greta, Jeri and Janice.
Norm will be cremated with a gathering of family and friends on July 19, 2025 at 121 Sunset Lane, Yakima, WA at 3:00 pm.
