Norman Hess Obituary
A graduate of Louisville Senior High School in Louisville Ohio and a U.S. Army Veteran, he worked for J & L Steel in Louisville for many years until his retirement. He was also an active member of the local V.F.W and fraternal order of Eagles. Herbie was a lifelong passionate lover of golf who would hit the links every chance he got. Herbie had a strong faith and loved Jesus.
He is preceded in death by both his mother and father, his brother Richard and sisters Vivian, Betty, Ellen Lee and Lois. He is survived by his brother Lee (Ruthie) Hess, his wife and best friend of over 60 years Nora (Paige) Hess, his 4 children Michael Hess, Wendy (Eric) Filimonuk, Brian Hess, Jennifer (Daniel) Thomas and his grandchildren Samantha, Courtney, Jordan, Ashlie, Taylor, Jake, Corey, Tanner, Logan and Braden. Herbie also has several great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews. To know him is to love him.

My name is Richard longo, I worked with Herbie for many years at JL steel. We worked together in the mantince department. Everyone liked Herbie. He was a kind,loving person. Easy to get along with. Lots of good memories. Rest in peace my friend.
