Norman Denois Little, age 86, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on January 7, 2025.
Our father, Norman Denois Little, loved life and his family and he lived by this every day. Our father's story of how he lived his life started back in Rock Bluff, Florida, then to South Carolina and finally to Philadelphia, PA in the 1950's. He graduated from Overbrook High School in 1958, then shortly went to University of Penn, next the National Guard.
He met our mother Barbara Jean Kinloch in a grocery store in Philadelphia when he met the Scotton family. He married Barbara Jean Kinloch on November 15, 1964.
Our parents moved to Williamstown, NJ in the 1970's. Our father was very resilient as he fought his way through some tough battles and stayed focused. He worked for several grocery stores before landing a job with the NJ Department of Transportation as a truck driver and retired in 2003.
Our father, Norman Denois Little leaves behind a daughter Schurr J. Little and a son Tor D. Little as well as several brothers and sisters: the late O'neal, Oprah, the late Leatrice, Audrey "Annette", the late Eugene "Tyrone", Beatty, Jakki, the late Dorothy and Vivian. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews in which he loved very dearly.
He would always say come to my house and take a bag of food home, he wanted to always feed you. He was a home soul, being his happiest at home with his family. He will be missed but he is in a better place of peace with the Lord.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, January 14th from 9:00-11:00 AM, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at The Perfecting Church, 274 Delsea Drive, Sewell, NJ 08080.
