Melbourne-FloridaNorman J. Struttmann passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17th at the age of 88.He will be lovingly remembered by his four surviving children James Struttmann, Patricia Webb (Alan), David Struttmann (Renee) and Edward Struttmann (Barbara). He was a beloved Grandpa to 7 grandchildren (Brian, Michael, Nathan, Adam, Stephen, Samantha and Christopher) and he was a loving great grandpa to all of their children. He is also survived by his sister, Marlene Mitchell (Bob) who reside in Maryland. Norm and Mary Lou (deceased) were the founders of the original Beach Discount Plumbing and Supply, now known as ACE Hardware in Indialantic. After retirement from the hardware business, Norm and Mary traveled across the United States in their RV. Often accompanying them were their children and grandchildren. Norm was passionate about trains and cars, from being a passenger to being a collector; he loved everything about them. Norm and Mary were members of the Immaculate Conception Church community when living in Melbourne Beach and most recently members of the Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne. Services will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Saturday, September 14th. Visitation begins at 10:30 and Mass begins at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice or to St. Stephens Way of Melbourne.
