Norris Edward Thomas

1948-2025

Norris Thomas, 77, went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 22, 2025. He was born September 12, 1948, in Rush, KY, a son of the late Charles W. and Mary Frasure Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay Harper Thomas; two sisters, Jean Felty and Linda Barker; two brothers, Bill Thomas and Ronald Thomas.

Norris was a Christian and a long-time member of the Meade Station Church of God. He was a millwright and had worked with USS Chemical and Aristech in Ironton, Ohio. He was an animal lover, especially his dogs, Princess and Millie.

He is survived by two loving daughters, Kristi (Leon) Davis of Lexington, KY, and Amy (Robert) Lynch of Ashland, KY; two sisters, Nancy McCulley of Worthington, KY, and Debbie Morgan of Ashland, KY. He is also survived by his long-time, loving companion, Karen Marshall of Ironton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Ty Sperry, Karley Sperry, Noah Lynch, River Lynch, Kaylin Davis, Noelle Davis, Landon Thomas-Davis, and Eli Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Meade Station Church of God, 10255 Cedar Hill Drive, Ashland, KY 41102, with Darryl Allen and Robby Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at the Coalton Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda K Thomas Memorial Scholarship thru the Meade Station Church of God.
