Nova Niccole Judkins, 9 months old, of Ogden, Utah, passed away on April 2, 2024. She is a precious angel who fought her battle with strength and courage until the end. Even though her time on earth with us was short the amount of joy and happiness she brought to our lives won’t compare to anything in this world. Nova's big, beautiful eyes and her perfect face melted everyone’s heart. She loved unicorns and Taylor Swift was the way to get her dancing. She absolutely loved the movie Moana. And most of all Nova loved her mommy and daddy.
Nova is survived by her loving parents, Ronnica Martinez and Dillan Judkins; her sister, Isabella Fernandez; her brother, Mario Lamar; her grandparents, Rebecka Chavez, Robert Lee Martinez, and Don and Janet Judkins; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished her dearly. She was preceded in death by her great-grandma, Nannette Joyce Gobel, great-grandpa, Gene Allphin; great-grandparents, Wendell and Clovis Judkins; uncle, Richard Allen Gobel; and aunt, Nicole Patricia Gobel.

As I sit in heaven
As I sit in heaven and watch you every day,
I try and let you know with signs I never went away.
I hear you when you’re laughing and I watch you as you sleep
I even placed my arms around you to calm you as you weep
I see you wish the days away, begging to have me home,
so I try and send you signs so you know you’re not alone
don’t feel guilty that you have life, life that was denied to me.
Heaven is truly beautiful just you wait-and-see,
so live your life laugh again enjoy yourself be free
then I know with each breath you take you’ll be taking one for me.
