Odell McDowell Obituary
Odell suffered from seizures as a youth, but by the Grace of God he recovered. He was employed for Miliken for many years until he had medical issues.
Odell was a member at Mountain Springs Baptist Church since he was a youth. He loved good gospel music especially Quartet. One of his favorites was Lee Williams.
Odell loved to joke, watch football, and fish. He also couldn't resist a good dressing during the holidays.
Odell leaves behind 4 sisters, Eva P. Johnson (Rev. Bobby Johnson), Linda Mance (Carol Mance), Donnie Scott (James Scott), and Ann Stowers; one brother, Lonnie McDowell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard McDowell and the late Jessie Mae McDowell, his stepmother.
