Mitchal Marietta

March 22, 2025

Have wonderful memories of Odetta and Wayne Marietta. Spend many a summer in Oberlin at my Grand parents Duke and Gertie Marietta house. At that time Wayne and Odetta lived in Oberlin and me my brother ( Scott ) and my sister (Teri) traveled to Oberlin every summer with our parents Jerry and Millie Marietta. We were always welcome at Odettas house. Oberlin was a great place as a young person to hang out , going swimming down at the park , riding our bikes all over town , going by Dukes store and always getting some cookies or candy from our Grandfather. Our families always spent time together during our visits. Its sometime you never forget. Odetta was a beautiful person both inside and out , had this wonderful smile and laugh. Wayne did well by finding and marrying Odetta. I know she is at peace now , being reunited with her husband Wayne. Thanks for all the memories Odetta , Love you and will always remember your kindness. God Bless.
