Marti passed away peacefully on Monday January 29, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Donald Devroy for 42 years and survived by stepchildren Dawn (Brad) Cain, Chari Salamone, Craig (Ellen) Devroy and Tracy (Don) Schlaikowski. Marti is also loved and will be missed by step grandkids, other relatives, close friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Esther (Voigt) Smith.
She always loved her family and their dogs. There was not an animal she could pass by without petting or being near them. She was very crafty and created many pretty items of which she would give away or sell at craft fairs.
There was a small private family viewing January 31, 2024. A Memorial service will be held on March 22, 2024, from11:00 to 11:30AM, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery inside the Chapel.
