Michael "Junior" Villa, age 82, of Chicago, Illinois passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1942 in Strong City, Kansas to Michael and Geronima (nee Flores) Villa.
Mike had the personality and natural ability to make friends no matter the situation, and his heart and kitchen were open to everyone around him. He was a remarkable, humorous man of many stories that ranged from memories of his children's antics to encounters of friends at the pool hall or tavern over the years, to work stories from his times as a truck driver, where he delivered steel for over 30 years throughout the Chicagoland area. The impact of his greatest roles as husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend will forever be felt by those who were fortunate to have him in their lives.
Michael is survived by his loving wife; Beatrice Villa (nee Jimenez), children; Michelle Villa, Michael (Lorena) Villa, Tonia (Jerry) Jaber, Angela (Amir) Sheikh, Vincent Villa, grandchildren; Michael Villa, Gabriel Villa, Jordan Jaber, Kaylie (Joel) Alejandro, Luke Jaber, Aiden Sheikh, Alec Sheikh, Milany Villa, Alayah Ramos, siblings; Robert (Virginia) Villa, Mary (Mick) Aceves, Ernie (Diane) Villa, Michael (Vicki) Villa, Romalda (Robert) Bermudez, Michaela (John) Borg, Emily Villa, Patricia (Byron) Robinson, sister-in-law; Diane Villa, brother-in-law; Kenneth McClory, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Michael and Geronima Villa, stepmother; Romalda Villa, siblings; Richard Villa, Barbara McClory, Freddy Villa, Beverly Villa, Maria Villa and Eduardo Villa.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service 3:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, Illinois. Interment private.

Our deepest, heartfelt sympathy to Bea and to the entire Villa Family.
Ron and Mary Ann Fogarty
The memory of Mike that we would like to share is the time he showed up like an angel to help me when I was involved in an auto accident on 31st Street, east of Cicero Avenue. I was in the car with my young children, stopped on a bridge, when an auto struck the rear of our car. This was before the days of cell phones, so I couldn't call Ron; I didn't know what to do and I was petrified. Then, like an angel, Mike walked over to me and the children and really took over the situation. Mike "just happened" to be in a car behind the one that hit us, and he really came to our rescue. Honestly, I don't even remember what transpired after he took over, I just know that the situation was resolved. My daughter and I just talked recently about this and we thank God for sending our good friend Mike to help us when we didn't know what to do.
We are keeping Mike in our prayers.
Ron and I send our heartfelt love, sympathy and prayers to Bea and to all the Villa Family.
With love and prayers,
Mary Ann and Ron Fogarty
