Olga Harper Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home - Jacksonville on Feb. 3, 2026.
Olga Harper, 83, went home to be with her Lord on February 1, 2026. She was born July 2, 1942 in San Benito, Texas to the late Pablo and Juana Garcia Trevino. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard "Lee" Harper, and many siblings.

Olga is survived by two sons, Brent Harper and Brian (Maria) Harper; Four grandchildren, AJ, Jordon, Kylie, and Haylee; two great grandchildren, Kinslee and Quinn, two brothers, Joel Trevino and Reynaldo Trevino; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Olga was a woman of deep faith who loved her family, her church, and her Lord with her whole heart. She became a devoted military spouse after meeting her husband, Lee, when he was stationed in Amarillo, Texas as a recruiter for the Marine Corps. She was the heart of the family as they made nine moves around the country and overseas, before arriving in Jacksonville, Arkansas in 1989. They found their new church family at Bayou Meto Baptist, where they have been members for close to 35 years.

Olga's life was a living example of kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. She found joy in simple blessings-tending her flower gardens, spending time with friends, and caring for those she loved, especially her dogs Max and Emma. Her legacy of faith and love will live on in all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2026 at Bayou Meto Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Visitation will be the night before at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Olga will be interred with her husband at Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery.
