Olga A. Kempf, 103, Ashley, ND, died Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Ashley Medical Center Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 27, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church, Ashley, led by Minister Amanda Nitschke and Rev. David Irwin. Interment follows at the Church Cemetery. Organist will be Steve Glaesmann; the congregation will sing "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound" and "God be With You Til We Meet Again"; Kevin Heupel will sing "Precious Lord, Take My Hand"; and usher will be Denny Hoffman.

Visitation commences 10:00 Am Monday at the Church.

Olga Ann Albrecht, daughter of Christina (Hoffman) and Wilhelm Albrecht, was born August 28, 1922 at the Albrecht farm one mile east of Long Lake, SD. She attended Long Lake School. She kept busy on the farm and also helped care for her siblings. Olga married Gerhard Kempf at Salem Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Long Lake on April 18, 1943. They settled 9 ½ miles SE of Ashley where they farmed and raised their four children. In 1975, they moved to a new home that they built one mile east of Ashley. They moved into town in 1995. Gerhard died July 22, 2015 and since 2018 Olga lived at the Ashley Medical Center Skilled Nursing Facility. Until just recently she kept busy sewing quilts with the Zion Lutheran ladies. She kept active in many things such as the Ashley Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary, Red Hatters, and Ashley Senior Citizens to name a few. She enjoyed entertaining, playing Rook, bingo at the nursing home, and card playing, which she took pretty seriously. Olga's family remembers how she always kept a few extra snacks at her home so no one went hungry.

Olga is survived by one daughter, Dianna (John) Jorgenson of Mandan, ND; three sons-LeRoy Kempf and Robert (Luana) Kempf of Ashley and Karlon (Sonya) Kempf of Aberdeen, SD; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law LaVern Albrecht of Aberdeen and Inez Albrecht of Woodbury, MN.

In addition to Gerhard, she was preceded in death by her father, Wilhelm, on December 15, 1951; her mother, Christina, on May 8, 1988; brothers-Leonhard, Richard, Walter, Milbert, and Cornelius Albrecht; and sisters-Hilda Klipfel, Ermina Aman, and LaVina Meier.

Honorary bearers will be all of Olga's Great grandchildren and Great-great grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be grandchildren-Bryon Fuchs of Bismarck, ND; Neil Fuchs of Jamestown, ND; Lezley Kempf of Rapid City, SD; Shawn Kempf of Aberdeen; Kelly Lindsay of Littleton, CO; John Kempf of Ashley; and Christopher Kempf of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
