Olga Pena Obituary

Olga Pena Rada, age 87, peacefully passed away on August 20, 2025.

Olga was lovingly preceded in death by her husband, Bayardo Pena, father

Lucindo Rada, mother Francisca Zamora, brother Quintiliano Rada, and

nephews Quinty and Heber, and niece Aida. She is survived by her two

daughters, Olga Maria Sanchez and Soraya Simone; two brothers, James and

Lucindo (Tocayo) Rada; and 14 beloved nieces and nephews who cherished

her deeply. As well as her two granddaughters Maria and Soraya Sanchez

and her great grandson Grey Clemmons.

Born in Cali, Colombia, Olga was brave enough to follow her husband with

her children to the USA, leaving behind her beloved parents, siblings,

nieces and nephews, as well as many childhood friends. Olga was a

beautiful and strong woman who raised two daughters to the best of her

ability. Learning from her about humility, how to be kind, how to be a

hard worker and how to be there for others. Her doors were always open

with food and kindness for everyone who stopped by. Unfortunately Olga

had the progressive disease of Scoliosis, which debilitated her in a very

painful way. In the end, Olga was surrounded by her two daughters who tag

teamed in a beautiful way, making sure she was safe and as comfortable as

possible.

Olga loved the beach, was an amazing cook and loved making delicious

meals for her family and friends. She was a fervent soccer fan of Leo

Messi and Barcelona, and her hometown team from Colombia, El Cali. She

loved music, enjoyed dancing and had a beautiful singing voice.

Olga was deeply cherished by her loving family and friends who remember

her with love, care and admiration for her kind ways. We will miss her

always! Surely she is watching down on all of us with pride and

gratefulness thanking the Lord for giving her a life full of love in each

of the souls that crossed her worldly path. May she Rest in Eternal

Peace.
