Oliver Drew Holtmeyer

Oliver Drew Holtmeyer, 6, of Jefferson City, Missouri, was welcomed into Heaven to be with Jesus on Monday, July 31, 2023. He was born in Columbia, Missouri, on December 9, 2016; a son to Weston Cole and Kayla Lynn (Beshear) Holtmeyer.
A typical boy, Oliver loved super heroes, especially Flash, Hot Wheels, Monster Trucks, and other cool cars. He was passionate about art, music, and nature. You could always find him singing, dancing, and living life to the fullest. One of his favorite places to connect with nature was the Runge Conservation Nature Center. Oliver also loved his pups, Scrubby and Trey Boy.
Oliver's love for Jesus, family, and friends was deep and abounding, as was his strength, faith, and courage. He took great joy in helping those in need whenever the occasion arose. Though his life on earth was short, the impact he made will last for many generations to come. Through Oliver, the world was able to see and know Jesus. He will be immensely missed and cherished by those who know and love him.
He is survived by his parents, Wes and Kayla Holtmeyer; brother, Jett Holtmeyer; paternal grandparents, Dean Holtmeyer and Dawn and David Cook; maternal grandparents, Lisa Beshear and Jeff and Kim Beshear; and countless other family members and friends.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Freshwater Church in Jefferson City. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Freshwater Church with Pastor Robert Strong officiating. Oliver will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Oliver's Memorial Fund via Venmo (@oliversmemorialfund) or check (made out to Weston and/or Kayla Holtmeyer) with "Oliver's Memorial Fund" in the memo line.
