Oliver Smiley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Whitt Funeral Home & Oakcrest Cremation Center on Dec. 10, 2025.
With broken hearts, we share the passing of our precious boy, Oliver Jean Smiley, who left this world unexpectedly on December 7, 2025, at just 21 months old. Though his time on earth was far too short, he filled every moment with joy, laughter, and a light that touched everyone who knew him.
Oliver was born February 28, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Christopher Smiley and Destiny Barnett. He was a sweet, spirited little soul who adored his big brother, Kaysen, looking up to him with wide-eyed wonder and following him wherever he could, and his baby brother, Cash, who he loved to dote on. He loved pizza, singing silly songs and watching "Bob the Builder". His laughter was the kind that lit up a whole room. Oliver shared an unbreakable bond with his mommy, whose love surrounded him every day of his life and nothing made him happier than cuddling with his daddy, cozy and content in the safest place he knew. He was a daddy's boy. Christopher could not sit down without Oliver climbing up in his lap. They were always attached at the hip.
Oliver and his memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be missed beyond measure by his parents, Christopher and Destiny; brothers: Kaysen Barnett and Cash Aaron Lee Smiley; grandparents: Debra Hunt, Carol Delozier, Steven Barnett; aunts: Merrilee Pipkin, Autumn Pipkin, Miranda Davis, Christine Mitchell; uncles: Benjamin Barnett, Jackson Barnett, John Lamphier, Richard Lamphier; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his pappy, Billy Jack Barnett; step-grandfather, Ricky Hunt; Granner, Mary Mathey; great-grandma, Olive Mathey; Nanny, Mae Ellen Dalrymple; and cousins: Trevor Beckworth, Gabriel Dean Davis, and Emma Rose Davis.
Visitation will be at Whitt Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 11. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 12, at the Freedom Biker Church with pastor Billy Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Marlow Cemetery with Heath Wood and Richard Lamphier serving as pallbearers.
