Olivia Deane Allison, age 13, entered the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.
Born on September 13, 2011, along with her identical twin sister, Elizabeth Deane, in Wichita, Kansas, Olivia and Elizabeth were the beloved daughters of Joshua Deane and SueVaun Michelle (Koehn) Allison. From the very beginning, Olivia's joyful spirit and radiant smile brought light and laughter to everyone blessed to know her.
Olivia delighted in life’s simple pleasures—family time, golf cart rides, swimming, and trips to the beach (especially when the water was warm). She loved being outdoors, whether swinging, biking, or just soaking in the sunshine. A connoisseur of cheerful commotion, Olivia especially relished the playful chaos of school life, often responding to it with contagious giggles.
Her presence was magnetic—her laughter irresistible. She found joy in the everyday: being picked up by her brother Bodie, having her hair brushed by her sister Lilly, bath time routines, and the comforting whirr of a hairdryer. Olivia thrived in the company of her classmates and cherished being surrounded by people. With an innate gift for drawing others in, she had a way of making anyone she met feel instantly welcomed and loved.
She is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her father, Josh Allison, and her siblings Wyatt, Bodie, and Lillian, all of Mount Pleasant, SC; her grandparents, Denny and Helen Allison of McPherson, KS, and Keith and Jeanette Koehn of Fruitland, ID; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and all who were fortunate to share in her beautiful life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, SueVaun Allison; identical twin, Elizabeth Deane Allison; and great-grandparents, Dale & Dorothy Koehn and Eugene & Salome Unruh.
Though her time here was far too short, Olivia's bright soul left a lasting imprint on the hearts of many. She was a gift, a joy, and a reminder of the beauty that lives in laughter, love, and the everyday moments.
