He was born November 05, 1969 in Fremont, Ohio to Heriberto and Oralia (Garcia) Rodriguez.
Survivors include his mother, Oralia Rodriguez; brother, Gilberto (Mary) Rodriguez; sister, Nora Lara all of San Benito, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Heriberto Rodriguez and brother, David Rodriguez.
Omar worked at Whirlpool and was a 1988 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
A private service will take place in Texas.
Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.

Just wanted to express my sincere condolences. I worked with Omar at Whirlpool and just heard about his passing. We rode to Texas together years ago. It was a great road trip and I will always have food memories of Omar as my friend. Linda Owens

I couldn´t believe it, when Rick told me that you had passed. Our families become fast friends, when my family got to Joe Leisure´s camp in Lindsay. We all made so many memories there, memories that will always be cherished. Although our lives took us in separate directions as we grew up, those memories remained. May you be reunited with your dad, brother and Linda. Rest in Peace old friend!!
Lala, Nora and Gilbert, I´m so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences to you all. May our Lord give you the strength to get through this difficult time. Sending prayers to you and your families. Praying for you all.

You were my best friend since we were babies. My first memory of us being friends goes way back to Lindsey, Ohio when we´d hide under your crib as toddlers. Though time, distance and life took us on different paths as adults, I´ll always remember the two kids in the back of the camper jamming to Kiss, Krokus, Def Leppard and other awesome rock bands of the 80s! I´ll always remember the two kids playing PAC Man and Galaga at that dark arcade in Potter Village in Fremont. I´ll always remember the two kids making mud cities in the cucumber fields next to our camp and playing with all the cool toy hot rods you always had. I´ll always remember your contagious laughter and tender smile. Thanks for all the great memories "Gomer Pyle" God speed!
