Omero Neno Gauna of Junction Texas, beloved son, loving brother, devoted uncle, and loving friend went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2023. 

Omero Neno Gauna was born in Menard on August 3, 1984 to Steve Gauna and Nancy Gauna of Junction. Omero was the second born. Omero grew up in Junction where he resided with his mother Mrs. Nancy Gauna until his passing. 

Omero was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ignacio and Bessie Gauna of Junction, his uncle, Domingo Gauna of Junction, and his baby sisters, Ashley Ann Gauna and Mary Inez Gauna. 

Omero is survived by his parents, Steve Gauna and Nancy Gauna of Junction; two sisters, Rose Gonzales and husband Manuel of Buffalo, Stacy Mauricio and husband Lucino of Cross Plains; his brothers, Steven, Joshua, Jeffrey, Brandon Lee, and Christopher Lee Gauna of Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Manuel, Anthony, Bryan, and Giana Gonzales of Buffalo and Abigail, Daniel, and Anabelle Mauricio of Cross Plains; aunts and cousins. 

Omero will be remembered by many for his genuine heart and his contagious laughter and silliness. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and swimming, he enjoyed cooking out for his family and friends. Omero will be missed greatly! We will cherish all of the precious memories we were blessed to enjoy together. Omero will be in our hearts forever, until we meet again "fly high" We Love You! 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mark Woodruff as celebrant.  Interment will follow at N.E. Junction Cemetery.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held 6:00 PM, Friday at Kimble Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home.
