Oneida Sue Pyeatt passed away February 1, 2026 at home at the age of 85. After attending high school at Abilene High in Texas, she attended and graduated from Abilene Christian College receiving her degree in secretarial training in 1962. She met CW, her husband-to-be, while at ACC. After graduation she moved to Tucson to work at Hughes Aircraft Company and married CW in December 1962. They celebrated their 63rd anniversary in 2025. She enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies including horseback riding, painting, gardening, teaching and playing the piano, sewing, and reading science fiction. She was an active and faithful member of the church of Christ. She is survived by her husband CW Pyeatt, her daughter Christy Phillips and her husband Mike, her son Clint Pyeatt and his wife Anita, and six grandchildren: Emily Phillips, Paul Phillips, James Phillips, Luke Phillips, Hayden Pyeatt, and Dylan Pyeatt.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, at 10:00 AM at 1495 E Rosser Street Church of Christ.
