Opal Vivian (nee Leas) Douglas was born on March 12, 1941 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Martha (nee Aders) Leas Drennen & Arthur Leas. She died on July 16, 2025 at de Greeff Hospice House in Sappington, MO at the age of 84.
Opal known to many as Vivian is survived by her 4 children, Barbara Salter, Bryan Douglas, Lisa Douglas and Pam Douglas all of De Soto; three grandchildren, Crisska (her husband, Michael) Novotny, Chloe Douglas-Voss and Grace Douglas-Voss; and 4 great grandchildren, Raven, Mikey, Winter, and Elias; and a very special "Sister-in-Christ", Pearl (her husband, Gene) Frost.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Robert Douglas, and siblings, Thelma "Fern" Coleman, Earl Leas, Arthur "Harvey" Leas and Sylvia Leas.
The family would love to express their gratitude for all of the loving support shown to them throughout this journey with their mother and grandmother.
