Opal Pearce, 94, passed away Wednesday July 23, 2025 in Granbury. Graveside funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 26, 2025 at Pioneer Cemetery.
Opal was born April 3, 1931 in Burleson to the late Cora Elizabeth (Dees) Zedlitz and Otto Frederick Zedlitz. She married Raymond Pearce February 3, 1950 in Tahoka, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2018. She moved to Graham in 1982 from Kermit, Texas and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
Survivors include; sons, Kenneth Pearce and wife Patty of Granbury, Kelley Pearce and wife Donna of Graham; ten grandchildren, Josh Hampton and Sara Hampton, Brantley Pearce and wife Adrienne, Amber Brennan and Amanda Brennan and Alyssa Stephens and husband Corey, Jordan Martin and husband Jason, Alyssa Pearce and Kevin Pearce, Kylie Nutt and husband Jerrod; 12 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Steve Hampton; daughter-in-law, Kayla Pearce Young; sisters, Florence Perguson and husband Charles, Jan Rush, Pat McKinley, and Joann Ross; brother, J.V. Zedlitz and wife Marilyn; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Opal was preceded in death her parents, husband, son, Karl Pearce, daughter, Karen Hampton, great granddaughter, Audrey Kate Pearce, brothers, Aaron Zedlitz and Fred Zedlitz and wife Dorothy.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
