Opal Inez Simpson born on Oct 15, 1930 in Brownsville Tn. to Henry Leon Adkerson and Dellie Lee Butler passed away on Feb 07, 2026. Leaving behind a legacy of hard work and cherished memories. Devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Great Great Grandmother and friend whose warmth and generosity touch the lives of many. She is survived by her children Linda Bullock (Billy Bullock, deceased), Sonny Medford (Robin). She is preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Brigman. She leaves 5 living grandchildren, 2 deceased grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She represented 5 generations of our family.

She lived a long, joyful life filled with love. She welcomed everyone she ever met and always found the best in people. Birthdays were a special occasion for her-especially her own-and she made sure you never felt forgotten, often sending birthday cards even if they arrived a little late. Her greatest happiness came from her family, and we will miss her dearly.
