Ora McIntosh

Ora McIntosh, 93, widow of James "Jim" McIntosh, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at her residence in Clay City, KY. She was born Thursday, April 17, 1930 in Wolfe County, KY to the late Johnnie & Lucy Pence Hollon. A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother. She is survived by: daughters Shirley Christopher & Annette (Ray) Tipton; grandchildren Dawan (Todd) Hart, Christy Tipton, Amy McIntosh, Anthony McIntosh, & Gary Christopher; great-grandchildren Logan Hart, Conner Hart, Tyler Shearer, Courtney Rice, Whitney (Tylor) Moore, Emily Bennett, Makayla (Christian) Noland, Janson McIntosh, & Lucas Christopher; and great-great-grandchildren Olivia Shearer & Kate Moore. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Johnnie McIntosh & Paul McIntosh and great-grandson Cameron McIntosh. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, November 9th at Wells Funeral Home with Bro. Rob Rice officiating. Visitation held on Thursday beginning at 10:00AM for family and 11:00AM for friends. Burial will follow the funeral at Powells Valley Cemetery with Todd Hart, Conner Hart, Logan Hart, Anthony McIntosh, Tyler Shearer, & David Tipton serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Linda & Stanley Knox, Connie & Hugh Reed, Raymond & Cindy Goodwin, & Brenda McKinney.
