It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Orlando L. Trujillo. Orlando, at the age of 63, peacefully departed this life on October 10, 2025. Born on August 14, 1962, to Faustina V. Trujillo and Rafael Trujillo, he enriched the lives of many as a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Orlando was a man of many passions and simple joys; he reveled in the thrill of hunting and cheering for the Broncos during football season. He had a gift for telling jokes, often sharing the ones he learned over the years. His soul danced to the rhythm of Spanish music, and his heart was filled with warmth whenever he spent time with his grandchildren. As the youngest sibling, he took on the role of caretaker, always the first to lend a hand and provide valuable advice on how to fix anything that needed mending. He cherished moments gathered with friends over cold ones, always bringing laughter and light to those around him.
Orlando’s legacy is one filled with love and devotion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faustina and Rafael Trujillo, along with his brothers, Jose "Lolo" Trujillo and Donaciano Trujillo, his sister, Maria E. Trujillo, and his grandson, Brandon T. Vigil. Together, they welcomed him with open arms and joyous hearts.
He leaves behind cherished memories with the mother of his children, Josie Peralta. Orlando is survived by his beloved children: Stepson Joseph Peralta (Amber), sons Geraldo Trujillo (Mikayla), Jessie Peralta, along with his wife Cristal and their kids, Mateo and Griselda Peralta, and Robert Trujillo. His daughters, Darlene Trujillo and her husband William and their two girls, Aria and Josyln Hayoz, Charlene Trujillo and her boys, Martin and Andy Quintana, Julia Trujillo (Brady) and their daughter, Alianna Jade Vigil, and his youngest daughter, Gabriella Trujillo, carry forward his spirit. He is also remembered fondly by his eldest daughters, Vanessa and Janelle Trujillo.
Orlando’s family connection extends to his brother, Jose R. Trujillo, and his son, Lawrence (Candice). He is survived by his sister, Talpita Trujillo (Fernando Branchal) and her sons, Geronimo Branchal and Brian Trujillo. His nephews, Diego Trujillo and Adrian Trujillo, alongside nieces Susan and Taryn Trujillo, also remember him with love. He held a special bond with dear friends Pat Trujillo and Carlos Cardenas, as well as numerous relatives and friends who cherished his kindness.
Services are pending.
Honorary pallbearers include Joseph Peralta, Geraldo Trujillo, Jessie Peralta, Robert Trujillo, and Brady Vigil.
Orlando L. Trujillo may have left this world, but the love he shared will echo in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
