Orley Ole Nelson

Orley O. Nelson, age 83, passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was born to the late Herbert and Adella (Klemp) Nelson on June 25, 1942, in Black Creek, WI.

Orley attended Center Valley Grade school, a one room schoolhouse for the first eight years of school, and he later graduated from Seymour High School. He worked at Neenah Foundry as well as the twelve corners cheese Factory in Black Creek. He also loved doing flea markets and farm markets with his long-time companion, Arlene. He enjoyed gardening, bonfires and simply being outdoors.

Olrey is survived by his brothers, Raymond (Karen) Nelson, and James (Nancy) Nelson; children, Terry (Beth) Redmann, Darrell (Tammy) Redmann and Shelley Sedo; grandchildren, Jeremy (Carey) Redmann, Nicholas Redmann, Kristin (Bruce) Williams, Heather (Lance) Casper, & Brook Sedo; great-grandchildren, Zachary Redmann, Mason Sina, Nolan Sina, Kinsley Casper; nieces Leslie (James) Richter, Heather (Ben) Rolfs, Heidi Nelson, Tanya(Greg) Schleusner, Stacy (Tom) Gregory.

In addition to his parents, Orley was preceded in death by his long-time companion, Arlene Redmann and his beloved dog Tuffy.

A service for Orley will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes, Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 6PM. A time of visitation will be held from 4:30PM until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service.
