Mr. Orville Dale Wright of Swartz Creek, Michigan, departed this life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born July 5, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Edsel and Jean (Smith) Wright.

Mr. Wright graduated from Carmen High School in Flint, and went on to work at General Motors, retiring in 2006 following 34 years of service. He was a United States Navy veteran who enjoyed watching war documentaries and westerns. Mr. Wright was an avid fan of Red Wings Hockey. He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, and had a great love for all his animals.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by two brothers, Patrick Wright and Ralph Roscoe Wright, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lori (Carter) Wright of Swartz Creek; four sons, Bill Wright of Coleman, Michigan, Caleb Wright of Flint, Michigan, Cody Wright, and wife, Ashley, of Flint, Michigan, and Cameron Wright of Grand Blanc, Michigan; four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jasper, Jacob, and Nola Wright; two brothers, Clyde Wright of Newport, Arkansas, and Edsel Wright of Melbourne, Florida; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Friends may visit at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Clark Cemetery, Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

His sons will serve as his pallbearers.
