Oscar Breceda is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Breceda and his maternal grandparents, Maria Amador and Juan Romero; paternal grandmother Irma Breceda. He is survived by spouse, Angelina Breceda, mother, Martha Breceda Aulakh and step-father Kuldeep Aulakh; brothers Javier Breceda and Daniel Breceda; children, Alyssa Monet, Alexis Monique, Angel Oscar, Oscai Victoria, and Oscar Jr., as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.
Oscar was a person who loved being around his family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his two youngest children. He was a free spirit who enjoyed life to it's fullest. Always concerned about others' well being; he would give up things to make sure you were good. His fun loving and charismatic personality was apparent. He loved to sing and dance, which we all experienced through our interactions with him. It was not unusual for Oscar to speak up in public settings and would not pass up an opportunity to sing karaoke. As he loved to make others laugh through his jovial remarks and jokes. His laughter was contagious and we all felt that positive energy from him. His mother, Martha, has expressed how much she loved spending many hours with him talking, laughing, and dancing.
As a child Oscar attended elementary school in Lamont then junior high in Arvin, California. He excelled in sports, specifically baseball and football. Not unusual that he would be a notable addition to the Arvin High School football team of 1999, jersey number 2. A lifelong devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan his team flag still waves at home. He attended Bakersfield College for a short while studying Business Management. He became a father to two daughters at a very young age, Alyssa and Alexis then several years later a third child, Angel. He was married in 2015 to Angelina and had two children with her, Oscai and Oscar Jr. He loved working with his hands and became a construction worker and consequently a loyal union member of Liuna Local 220. Oscar was a Christian and even through challenging periods in his life he never forgot his love for the Lord. He continued to serve the Lord and made sure others knew of Him. His faith brought satisfaction and meaning to his life as evidenced by his love for church, family, and friends. Oscar was a leader and director of the men's home for Victory Outreach from 2019 through 2020. He enjoyed leading his own bible studies in his own home throughout these years. We are saddened by Oscar's passing so soon, but it gives us great comfort to know that he touched so many lives through his interactions, laughter, and love for others.
