Oscar fue un hombre trabajador y querido por todos. Amaba profundamente a su familia, a su esposa y a sus hijos, pero sobre todo a su hija Emily, quien era su mayor alegría. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo con ella y uno de sus lugares favoritos para compartir juntos era IHOP.
Fue un esposo amoroso, un padre entregado y un hermano lleno de cariño. Siempre mostró con hechos el amor y dedicación que sentía por los suyos.
Le sobreviven su esposa: Julia; sus hijos: Oscar, Yovani, Carlos Ernesto y Brayan; su hija: Emily; sus nietos: Oliver, Hazel Nicol, Sofía, Lucas, Kristelle, Karen, Adriel, Vinicius y Kaeyla; y su bisnieto: Noah. También sus hermanas: Sonia, Estela, Zuleyma, Angélica, Marina y Juana; y sus hermanos: Gustavo y Arturo.
Su recuerdo vivirá siempre en el corazón de su familia y de todos los que lo conocieron.
