Mr. Oscar Van "O. V." Williams, 84, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, April 30, 1940, to the late Oscar A. Williams, Sr. and Dora E. Williams. He retired as a Truck Driver for Miller Transporters Inc.
Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Williams; parents, Dora E. and Oscar A. Williams, Sr.; four brothers, Oscar A. "Bill" Williams, Hershel "Lit" Williams, Prentis Ray Williams, and Hugh Wayne Williams; five sisters, Mable Snellgrove, Masie Langley, Grace Burgess, Mary Styron, and Lillie Williams; great granddaughter, Zoey Hilverding; great grandson, Kolby Miller. He is survived by four sons, Terry Williams, Clifford Williams (Rene), both of Waynesboro, MS, Chris Williams (Jennifer) of Branford, FL, and Bryan Williams (Selena) of Laurel, MS; four daughters, Sandra Williams, Janet Headlee, Trisha Williams, all of Waynesboro, MS, and Jennifer Jordan (Nickey) of Buckatunna, MS; 26 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; honorary daughter, Connie Williams of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Ann Foxworth (Louis) of Waynesboro, MS.
Visitation for Mr. Williams will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, April 18, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Rickey Williams officiating. Interment will be in Lowery Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
