Otis Willard Cantrell, 78 of Cookeville passed peacefully from this life Friday June 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Cantrell was a Sergeant of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was a beloved member of the community and the owner of Cantrell's Photography for over 30 years. Mr. Cantrell also retired from Cummins Filtration after 36 years of service. He was a member of Cookeville Free Will Baptist Church.
Willard was born on November 9, 1945 in Smithville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Otis and Martha Rigsby Cantrell.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife of 50 years, Gail Cantrell, his twin brother Millard Cantrell, and sisters Aileen Jones, Lucille Smith and Leta Snodgrass.
He is survived by a loving daughter and son in law, Amie and Lee Harville of Cookeville, granddaughter MaKenzie Grace Harville of Cookeville, grandson and wife Mason and Brooklyn Harville of Cookeville, and sister Kathleen Cantrell of Nashville.
Pallbearers will be the service crew from Upper Cumberland Tree Care.
The family will receive friends on Sunday June 23, 2024 from 4:00pm-9:00pm at the chapel of Presley Funeral Home in Cookeville.
A military graveside service will be held on Monday June 24, 2024 at 11:00am at Crest Lawn Cemetery.
