Otis Harding Jr., 66, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away quietly at home on October 4th, 2025 in Suffolk, Virginia. Born on May 6th, 1959, in Manhattan, New York, later moving to the state of Virginia.
Otis dedicated his life to the field of mechanical engineering, where his expertise and diligence earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike. His career was marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation, leaving a lasting legacy in the industry he served so passionately.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mary Harding and Otis Harding Sr., whose guidance and love shaped the man he became. He was also predeceased by one brother, Glenn Harding. Otis is survived by his cherished wife, Holanda Harding, who stood by his side with unwavering support and love throughout their 42 years of marriage. He is also survived by his two children, Otis Harding III (Jessica), Caitlin Harding, and three grandsons whom he loved and cherished dearly.
Otis will be remembered for his quiet strength, integrity, and devotion to those he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
