It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Otis Denny Taylor (Country), who passed on June 17, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on May 18, 1948, in Kingsport, Tennessee, Otis spent his final days in the company of loved ones in Lincoln Park, Michigan.

Otis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He dedicated his life to his family and his work as a skilled mason, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and craftsmanship. In his leisure time, Otis enjoyed playing poker and pinochle, and playing pool. A man of many interests, he also cherished his membership in the R.E.D.S Motorcycle Club, where he formed enduring friendships and lasting memories.

Otis was preceded in death by his beloved son, Daniel. Left to carry on his memory are his loving wife, Rose V. Taylor, and his cherished child, Sampson Withrow. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Dominik Gorsline, Drake Withrow, and Royce Withrow, as well as his daughter-in-law, Dominique Gorsline. Otis is also survived by his siblings Frances Dupew, Marjorie Thompson, and Dwight (Cathy) Taylor, along with numerous other family members and friends who held him dear.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Otis's honor.

Otis Denny Taylor will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed.
