Otis Wright Obituary

Otis H. Wright, 61, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his home.  

He was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on June 25, 1962, the son of the late Leo E. and Marlene (Taylor) Wright.  

Otis is survived by his significant other Julie Smith of Huntsville; a daughter Sarah Ruth (Mario) Wright; a son Leo H. (Donna) Wright; three grandchildren: Leo H., Hayes, and Joe-Joe; and a niece Tara Wright.

Otis served in the U.S. Army National Guard from November 22, 1980, until November 21, 1987.  He worked at Crown Equipment Corporation and for U-Haul.  Otis was a member of both the Bellefontaine and Marysville Moose Lodges, the Marysville VFW, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  

Friends may call on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 12Noon to 2 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Canal Lewisville Cemetery, Coshocton.
