Ottie Mae Goss, infant daughter of Luke and Caroline Goss, passed into the arms of Jesus on November 18, 2024 at Baptist Hospital following complications from Limb Body Wall Complex.
Though her time with us was brief, Ottie Mae made a lasting impact on our hearts and lives, and she brought so much joy to our family with the promise of her arrival.
Named after a dream in which Paw Ernie, who passed shortly before her, was holding her in Heaven and greeted her by name - her name is a symbol of great love and hope.
Ottie is survived by her parents, Luke and Caroline Goss of West Jefferson; grandparents Darren and Jane Edwards, Terry Goss, and Melissa and Dave Murray; 3 uncles and 1 aunt, Chris Edwards, Kole and Mckenzie Goss, and Jed Goss; one cousin, Hudson Goss; and 2 great-grandparents, Pat Goss and Barbara Carpenter. She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents James Edwards, Jim and Mary Vaughn, Neal and Inez Wagner, Maynard Goss and Ernie Carpenter.
Ottie will forever be cherished and remembered by her parents and all who love her. We find comfort in knowing that the One who holds us in His perfect peace is holding our Ottie Mae in Heaven, and we will see her someday sooner than we realize. In all things, we trust in God as the Author of our story, and we know that He has made everything beautiful in His time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ottie Mae Goss, to Camp New Hope, P.O Box 154, Glendale Springs, NC 28629
