Michael Francis Goss, aged 95, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at home in St. Augustine, Florida. He was born on July 15, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York to Michael and Marie. He was a devoted Husband to Ellen for 68 years and Father to Michael, Susan, Ellen and William. He was preceded in death by His Wife, Parents, Stepfather Linus, Brother Linus, and Sisters Marie and Linda. He is survived by his Children Michael, Susan, Ellen and William, Grandchildren Daniel, Michelle, Eric, Kathleen and William, Great Grandchildren Brady, Carson, Grayson, Asher, Christopher and his Sister Gloria. He was best known by as Frank, because of all the Michaels in the family. After his father passed at an early age, his mother returned with him and his older sister Marie to Torbay, Newfoundland. That is where he was raised with help from many aunts, uncles and extended family. It is also where he obtained his great fishing skills and served as an altar boy with his brother. He returned to the United States when drafted for the Korean Conflict. A tragic accident during training exercises caused the loss of vision in one eye. After an honorable discharge, he remained in the United States where he met his wife Ellen and they began to raise a family. He loved to read. He was best known for his excellent mechanical ingenuity, woodworking craftsmanship, gardening knowledge and fishing skills. Most of all as a hardworking, devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather. A lifelong friend to many. A true family man. Services will be handled by Craig Funeral Home in St. Augustine including a Mass at his Church, San Sebastian Catholic Church. We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
