John Hand Obituary
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 20, 1942, Jack relocating with his wife to St. Augustine, Florida in 2013 to enjoy retirement and to be close to family.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1965, serving in the Vietnam War.
Jack devoted his professional life to US Postal Service, retiring after 36 years.
Married to his beloved wife, Beatrice Quail, for 59 wonderful years, John was the cornerstone of his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
John was predeceased by his parents, John Edward Hand Sr. and Agnes Kempf and his daughter Jeanine.
He is survived by his wife Beatrice, his daughter Jill Hand Franzoi, her husband Michael Franzoi, his son Glenn Hand his fiancé Amanda Hardwicke, his grandsons Gary Gonzales and Jack Hand; brothers Gary Hand and Glenn Hand, and many extended family members who loved him dearly.
A private military memorial service will be held at a National Cemetery in Florida. The family requests no flowers or donations. Instead, please honor him with a moment of remembrance or by spending time with your loved ones.
