He was born in Erie, PA on June 2, 1946, the son of the late Otto J and Dorothy (Dudenhoeffer) Luthringer.
Besides the many custodial jobs held during his early years, Butch was best known for his work cleaning and detailing vehicles. He was proud of his finished work, and no job was too big or small for him to take on.
He is survived by his son Patrick Luthringer who lovingly took care of his Dad as his health declined over the years. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Elisabeth, Margie and Janice Luthringer and brothers-in-law Richard Aquillano and Frank Giacobello. Also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews who will remember Uncle Butch by his infectious laugh and happy-go-lucky attitude in life.
Besides his parents, Otto is now reunited with his wife Mary (Giacobello) Luthringer, and his 4 brothers Paul, Jerry, Donald, and Thomas Luthringer.
Friends and family may call at the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 2502 Sassafras Street in Erie on Monday, June 30th from 5 pm until the time of service at 6 pm. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com
Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
