Ouida Moore

Ouida Moore 72, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Ouida Mae Pillow was born April 9, 1952 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Wilbur Kenneth and Dorothy Mae Ambrose Pillow and was married to James William Moore on August 9, 1968.
Ouida was the co-owner and operator of the McLean County Locker in Calhoun and a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
She enjoyed crafting and any activity that included the outdoors, including gardening.
In addition to her parents, Ouida was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James W. Moore, who died April 18, 2019; and by a grandson, Corbin Lee McCarty.
Ouida is survived by two sons, Chuck Moore of Calhoun and Wayne Moore (Jennifer) of Beech Grove; a daughter, Brandy Moore of Calhoun; four grandchildren, Colton Moore, Kristen Wells (Jeremy), Kheri Moore, and Chandler Moore; a sister, Nesi Powell (Mike) of Beech Grove; several nephews, a niece, and many friends.
Family services will be held at a later date. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Ouida's family.
