Ouma (Edith) Sawh of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Prashad Nagar, Guyana died on February 2nd 2023 at the age of 74 after a brief illness. She was born on January 10th 1949, in Mahaica, Guyana, to Ramkumar and Rajpattie Sawh who both preceded her in death.
Edith (as she was commonly known) is survived by her Daughters – Samantha and Stacey, her Sons-In-Law – Michael and Norman and her Grandchildren – Alexander, Savannah and Anika. Siblings – Dennis, Janet, Sais, Annette, Balchand, Gloria, Shanti and Amrita. Sisters-in-law – Bernice, Helga, Doreen, Camela and Sherry.Brothers-In-Law – Jai, Shivdval, Naresh and Godfrey (deceased).Nephews – Devendra, Angad, Chris, Shawn, Yudi, Ryan, Aditya, Tony, Gary, Brian, Richard and Andrew.Nieces-Indira, Sara, Kavita, Shivani, Michelle, Liza and Nicola and Relatives too numerous to mention.
Edith was a Very Special Woman that lived her entire life caring for others. Her world revolved around her daughters and their families. She was Strong, Selfless, Sacrificial, Simple, Kind and Generous and was always willing to give of herself completely.
Visitation and Hindu Religious Ceremony in honor of Edith's life will be held at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care located at 1600 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33024. The visitation is scheduled on Friday, February 17th, 2023 from9:30 am-11:30 am with a Hindu Ceremony at 10:30 AM followed by a Private Cremation.
